Marble Mountains Five hills, formerly islands and made of marble. Each is named for one of the universal elements of fire, earth, water, wood and metal. The hills are a source of red, white and blue/green marble. |
| Linh Ong Pagoda on Thuy Son (water) the largest of the hills. Within the 'mountains' are many caverns, some of which are Buddhist sanctuaries. During the war the V.C. had a field hospital deep in Huyen Khong Cave. |  |
